33. Wedding Bedding
Eddie and Nina decide to live with his parents. They still occasionally spend nights at the library where she remains chief librarian who chooses night duty as she pleases. Their lives are at first little changed by marriage.
Living with parents goes against most new marrieds' desire to immediately find a home of their own. It comes from Eddie's reading of Section 1.10 Mistakes to Avoid, in Physician's Notebooks 1: In starting a new venture such as marriage it is best not to burn old bridges & build expensive, fragile new ones.
Most of these early married decisions are Eddie's. Nina is passive in life decisions. Especially with her recent successful psychoanalysis, she is totally in love with Eddie - she trusts him to do well by her future. It is a worrisome load off her psyche and she credits Eddie with initiating the analysis and is thankful to him for not having taken advantage of her weakness. Until wedding night they have not had sexual relations.
34. The Night
The couple chose to stay home for wedding bedding. After last guest leaves, Nina, who has changed back into the plain dress she started in, helps Mom, as she calls Eddie's mother, do dishes and put the rooms back in order.
Before anyone looks at the clock on wall, it chimes 9 PM. The mother and father go off to their bedroom, where they have their own TV, leaving Eddie and Nina together on the sofa in living room, his left arm about her shoulders. She turns to him with look of love. and no words, and both pull each other into an embrace. The kissing starts close-lips, softly pressing. He moves his lips about her face, especially onto her shut eyelids. After minutes she pushes him back and says "Let me take off my clothes, Eddie dear. Now I'm your wife, I want to pleasure you. As you desire me, so shall I be."
"Yeah, that is a nice song lyric, Neen. Now I wanna see all your skin."
She stands and starts, finally pulling down and stepping out of white lace panties and unhooking and dropping her bra. "Dost like?"
"Do I!" He stands and undresses; stoops and picks her up, his right hand under knee creases and left supporting her back.
"Excuse my womanly weight, Eddie, but that part of Physician's Notebooks, I do not pay attention to."
He carries her out of the room pushing open the French door into foyer, goes left and across it and then left down the diagonal hallway and halfway, on the right, pushes open their bedroom door.
The marriage made a new bedroom plan. Eddie's old bed and side table since childhood and the baseball hero pictures on wall are gone. Influenced by Japanese tastes, he has replaced bed and table with a futon, which in Japan means a floor mat one unrolls for sleeping, and rolls up and stores in a closet at other times. For sleep it is covered by sheet, blanket or comforter, depending on season. Nina had already unrolled the futon and prepared it for wedding bedding along the north wall in northeast corner where the bed had been; the near corner to one's left on entering the room from hallway. The room's small shower and toilet has been redone by Eddie's mother to suit Nina's taste, with frilly pink shower curtains and a new white window curtain and a small makeup table in corner between commode and water basin. The bedroom's west wall, which sleepers on the futon might view on awakening, now has a golden mean rectangle painting by Joe Pro of an open meadow, with wildflowers all about and a young man and woman holding hands and in the act of running - Eddie and Nina - like Jack & Jill running towards the viewer.
Eddie kicks the bedroom door closed behind him now and sets Nina down facing him and, their bodies pressing in front, they kiss and her mouth opens slightly and Eddie tastes his wife's tongue first time and likes it much. Their mouths separate and Nina says, "Now I am your wife, I give everything."
"Everything?" Eddie recalls Ryo. "OK, go clean all your holes." Then he sits at desk and looks through his latest New Yorker.
Nina knows when he says "all your holes" he means mouth, vulva-vagina & anus-rectum, and "clean" means at least with antiseptic mouthwash and for the others, alcohol scrub. Also using moist lubricated finger she checks in rectum for feces and if she finds some she will remove it. She uses Listerine mouth wash - both she and Eddie have been impressed by its catchy ad inside magazine covers. She comes out and Eddie takes his turn cleaning and using mouthwash.
When he comes out, Nina is lying on the futon under an orange-color sheet. The late June warmth makes for nudity and for a sheet-only. She prefers not to show her body for sex.
Eddie flips the light switch off and gets under the sheet beside her.
She says, "Um, you're nice and warm, husband mine. Well, good night, sleep tight."
Silence ensues as both go off to sleep.
Eddie comes back to consciousness. Needs to pee so he gets up careful not to awaken Nina. When he returns, he sees her eye whites. She whispers "What's wrong with me? Why didn't you do me?"
"Nuthin' wrong, I take you as I like. Like now." He grabs her hard, both hands dragging her butts against his stiffened part. No kissing just rough entry, taking her breath away, and making her cry out. He makes a low growl, like an animal protecting his food and rolls on top of her, his erection slicing into her opening deeply and withdrawing and slicing in again several times and then he orgasms, and semen pumps into her. They lie silent for about 10 minutes, then he says "Turn your behind to me." She does it and he takes her vaginally from behind. They sleep a while, then he wakes her. "Missionary," he orders, referring to the position of woman sprawled on her back thighs up and apart, She does it and this time he locates her anus, first with finger, then he pokes his penis stiff and wet with semen and she cries out. "Be gentle, please, Eddie. That hurts."
"Grab onto my prick, bitch, and ease it into your asshole. You've been fucked up the ass before ain't you?"
"No Eddie. You are first. I do what you say, my husband."
Once he is in her, lying on top face to face, he can't control the highly erotic moment and cries out Neen, I love you! I love it! I can't stop. Here I come!"
And though the first anal entry hurts, she feels overwhelming love in giving Eddie what most women would abhor. And she thinks Now he will be mine for life. He can't get this anywhere except me.
Of course she would not think that unless she were sure - as she is - he is hetero only - as he is.
